NetworkG2 LLC was founded in 2002 by James E. Walker.  Mr. Walker brings over 25 years of experience in IT Strategy, Architecture, and Governance.  Mr. Walker serves as the company's visionary and Executive IT Business Consultant. Mr. Walker has led multi-million dollar strategic IT modernization projects for various Fortune 100© and Fortune Global 200© corporations and large public sector organizations world-wide, including  Wells Fargo, NationsBank/Bank of America, British Petroleum, Repsol, Petroleos De Venezuela, Los Angeles Unified School District, and many others. 

Prior to founding NetworkG2, Mr. Walker served as Vice President of Emerging Technologies at VeriSign, Inc.  In this capacity, his primary responsibilities included strategic product planning, business opportunity analysis, M&A technical due diligence, corporate strategy development, and providing thought leadership in industry standards organizations.  Before joining VeriSign, Mr. Walker was an executive with SAIC and served as Vice President/Chief Scientist for Global Communications and served on their Executive Science and Technology Council.  Mr. Walker was also Vice President of Internet Strategies with Network Solutions, Inc.  Other career highlights include teaching Mathematics & Computer Science at accredited universities and conducting worldwide networking seminars for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).  Mr. Walker has earned Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Mathematics from Prairie View A&M University.
